Morocco packs a lot into a short flight from the UK: medieval walled cities, snow on the Atlas peaks above palm groves, and the edge of the Sahara. You travel by private vehicle with a driver, and pick up local guides in each city for the medinas, which are genuinely easy to get lost in. Nights are a mix of riads, the traditional courtyard houses, city hotels and a comfortable tented camp. Flights are excluded.
